President Eduardo Soto
Eduardo Soto has been a member of the PRSSA since the summer of 2008. He graduated from Colegio Marista high school in Guaynabo City in 2007. He has been involved with the debate on the territorial definition of Puerto Rico since 2007, when he arranged several conferences with different local political figures that would put forth their proposals for ending the colonial status. He was first appointed Puerto Rico Communications Director, then became National Communications Director and later as the Executive Director of the association. As Communications Director, he was responsible of overseeing the PRSSA’s public relations and matters of the press. He hosted the first “Tertulia Estadista” in the University of Puerto Rico, and has represented the PRSSA in local radio as well as at different electoral events during the 2008 campaign season. In the PRSSA National Board Elections of 2010 Soto was elected as the seventh President of the PRSSA, and has served since. |
