Kenneth McClintock

Kenneth D. McClintock was born January 19, 1957, in London, United Kingdom. He is the Secretary of State designate of Puerto Rico, after being appointed by Luis Fortuño. As a student, he and Luis Fortuño founded the Puerto Rico Statehood Students Association, and was its president from 1979 till 1980.McClintock completed a Bachelor’s degree in Finance in the University of Puerto Rico – Rio Piedras Campus in 1978. He obtained a Juris Doctor Degree from Tulane University in 1980.Kenneth McClintock has served as San Juan City Councilman, as Chair of the Government and Federal Affairs Committee of the Senate of Puerto Rico, as the New Progressive Party Minority Leader and as the President of the Senate of Puerto Rico, among other positions of public service.
